Das Logo vom Thrasher Magazine ist in den bald vier Jahrzehnten des Bestehens zur Ikone geworden und hat inzwischen auch weit über die Skateboard-Szene hinaus einen unglaublichen Bekanntheitsstatus erlangt. Der geschwungene Schriftzug des Mags wird unter Skateboardern verehrt wie kaum ein anderes Logo.
Das Kult-Skateboard Magazin
An den Start ging das Thrasher Mag bereits 1981, damals noch als Werbemagazin von Independent Trucks. Aus der Medienlandschaft rund um Skateboarding ist es seitdem längst nicht mehr wegzudenken. Seinen Sitz hat Thrasher im sonnigen San Francisco. Es ist mit seiner Tradition und Reputation das mit Abstand älteste und beliebteste Skateboard Magazin der Welt.
